Prof. Cipriana Stefanescu, the president of IMAGO-MOL’s Scientific Council and scientific coordinator of REVERT project and prof. Adrian Iftene, MedTech coordinator and IT coordinator in REVERT project have been presenting the REVERT project in the context of a special TV show dedicated to how EU Commission is supporting research in healthcare.
They underlined the consortium extent and the challenges of combining multiple patient’s data for developing and AI algorithm in order to improve the treatment of colorectal cancer patients in the view of personalized medicine.
Moreover, a special focus has been cast upon the role of North-East Regional Development Agency (NERDA) in facilitating the access of organizations from North-East region to European consortia, as was the case of Revert project, taking advantage of the fact that NERDA is member of ERRIN (The European Regions Research and Innovation Network).
